Dr. Tom is available for residencies and workshops.

One Day Residency:

One day residencies consist of 1 to 2 performances in the morning, followed by as many workshops as possible for the duration of the day. Workshops are for grades 3 - 5 and range from 15 to 45 minutes. The workshop may include mime technique, improv games, theater games, and circus skills (plate spinning & balloon balancing). The personal achievements of the students offer them a great sense of success as well as joy and delight.

The student experiences:

One Week Residencies:

One week residencies are unique in the fact that they culminate with students performing in the Dr. Tom Show. Dr. Tom works with either 4th or 5th grades (or a combination of both) for four days; five workshops a day for 45 - 50 minutes each. The workshop may include mime technique, improv games, theater games, circus skills (plate spinning & balloon balancing). The students experience:

3. Self-Confidence
4. Creative Thinking
5. Coordination
6. Trust; both Themselves and Each Other

On the final day after a morning of rehearsal, Dr. Tom's troupe of 25 will be ready to step on stage. Using mime, circus skills, and their own talents such as gymnastics & dance they create a very special show.
